This one's about self care when you don't have time AND when you feel guilty for taking it. And when you're sick and can't take a day off. And when you're tired of wondering what people are thinking of you because you're... sick again?....really?
Nothing worse than having a long day and snuggling up to Instagram or Pinterest...until you're loudly reminded of how much your life falls short of the dream you have for it. Shit. Now what?
You’re worn out. You need things to work. You can’t handle anymore blows or challenges and you’re more than ready just get a break so you can get ahead of life instead of be suffocated by it. I know it doesn’t feel fair. (It's not) It’s like you’re already running on empty when more is asked of you day after day. In every area of life, you are simply spent and you just want a cosmic hand to reach down from the heavens and lift you out of it. Believe me when I say that I totally get it. A thousand times over, I get it. And I want to help you through it, even just for today.
Life is exhausting for just about everyone. And when you’re in the middle of it all, it’s hard to see if there’s a way for it to be more smooth, easy and enjoyable. In fact - it’s hard to believe it’s possible. But here’s the truth. Until you find a way to make it be more simple and uplifting, you’ll only keep drowning in it. So instead, let’s shift perspectives for a minute and see if there’s a way to bring more ease and joy into your daily life, so you don’t have to hide from it.
